The series is left so completely open ended that it wasn't even funny. You know, when you get a "Read the light novel/manga ending", people tend to get angry because well, the story's incomplete and they want to know how it ends. In addition to having to me, what seemed to be a recycled plot idea, was the fact that the supposed terrorism was being done by what looked to be nameless groups of generic, "oh, we're the bad guys!" who didn't seem all that threatening since they get their asses kicked by children.Īnd finally, the final flaw was the ending. And finally, a public presentation, end it with more terrorism. Another, an olympic style event, end it with terrorism. One arc was about discrimination, end it up with terrorism. In addition, the three arcs that the series featured weren't even different from one another.
Because the series spent roughly half of its run-time to explain magic, the plot suffered majorly due to the sheer fact that there wasn't enough time to show all of the necessary plot details, leading to massive plot holes and confusing plot lines. In my opinion, watching a series where the characters talk about stuff that didn't feel completely necessary to the plot just didn't interest me. To put it in simple terms, the series tried too hard to explain its sort of roundabout focus, leading it to be over explained, and most of all, boring. Every aspect such as the Psions (whatever those are), the CAD's (supposed "magic wands"), and cast time and magic sequences, relics.ugh. For a good twenty or so episodes in the series, half of the actual run time/episode was devoted to explaining magic. Now, as contradictory as this sounds, the idea of Magic was a big problem for the series. There were four MAJOR flaws that the series had, and it was because of these flaws, that the show just went completely downhill. (Plus, it's 26 episodes, so it can entertain for quite a while.) But as time went on, the series sort of.deteriorated. The actual story idea was interesting and different from anything in the spring season, so I thought that this would be a good watch. It is because of these extraordinary properties that the technology is called "magic." It is here that two siblings named Shiba and Miyuki enter a high school for up and coming magicians so that they too, can advance their studies in the wonderful technology that is.magic.Īt the beginning, this story intrigued me quite a bit. Anime does this major fault a lot due to the constrained timeframe that they have, confining so much information into a 30 minute window for however amount of episodes ranging from the normal 12-13 to the ungodly long amount of 700+. I'm not sure If I really liked it or if I just watched it because I had to. This->the art is just amazing,characters are very well made, the behind scene is realistic(anime version ofcourse),all the spell,power,action are well made,I can't complain about anything from the art.Ĭharacter:I very like this kind of character,the main character, he is very strong but quiet, he sounds like nothing matter but he is actually very dangerous,not good at magic, but very good at martial art,if you like "over power" character, you might like this show.Įnjoyment:how can I explain it. and I would say, It talks a lot about terrorism. Story:I'm not about not spoiling so I will only say this much->it's the story about a guy, shiba tatsuya who joined a the first high school,he has been placed in the"noob" categorie, he is actually very, and I repeat, VERY smart and strong. Mahouka koukou no rettousei is magic, school,action,thriller, and kinda psychological, all of them in the future 2095, that makes magic a sci-fi,It's my way to see it. As my opinion, this anime is a masterpiece,I don't want to admit it myself, but I going to say, it is.
